The main VI (PXI TIME SETTING) presents on the control panel the interface with the operator allowing the selection of various kind of operation e.g. selection of NTP server, time offset display, or display and time correction, range of operation, etc. The main VI calls two subvi's:
SNTP INIFILE READER. It lists the name and IP address of the NTP servers selected by the user;
SNTP CLIENT RFC2030. It opens a UDP connection to the available server on port 123. It writes and reads the data from port 123 following the SNTP protocol explained in RFC 2030.
