Requirements: View

I. Description:
This VI configures a TEDS sensor on a given physical channel and then continuously acquires measurements from a load cell (or other bridge sensor).

II. Instructions for Running:
1. Enter the list of physical channels and set the attributes of the load cell channel. The units and custom scale name may need to be configured if the TEDS sensor does not contain information on the units and causes an error when the application runs.
2. Run the VI and do not apply a load until data starts being plotted. This will take a few seconds to start because the TEDS information must be read from the sensor. Once it is read and the TEDS is properly configured for the channel(s), it will be displayed on the TEDS Table.

III. Block Diagram Steps:
1. Configure the TEDS channel and, once complete, parse the data and display it on a table.
2. Create the TEDS AI Custom Voltage with Excitation Task.
3. Set timing parameters. Note that sample mode set to Continuous Samples.
4. Call the Start VI to start the acquisition.
5. Read the Waveform data in a loop until the user hits the stop button or an error occurs.
6. Call the Clear Task VI to clear the Task. Use the popup dialog box to display an error if any.
7. Clear the TEDS information so it is no longer associated with that physical channel.

IV. I/O Connections Overview:
Make sure your signal input terminal matches the Physical Channel I/O control.

V. Recommended Hardware

VI. Required Software
LabVIEW v7.1 or Higher
NI-DAQmx v7.2 or Higher
TEDS Library for LabVIEW (required for part of code)
