This VI demonstrates how to phase-lock both an arbitrary waveform generator (arb) and a digital oscilloscope (digitizer) with the 10 MHz PXI back plane clock. Using NI-Scope and NI-FGEN Express VIs to configure arbs and digitizers, this clock is an easy reference with much more accurate generated and acquired signals. This program actually makes two frequency measurements with the Tone Measurements Express VI and then calculates their accuracy. It also graphs the frequency spectrum with the Spectral Measurements VI.
