This example program implements a periodic waveform generator by using advanced LabVIEW FPGA functionality to read and write to FGPA memory.
201155.zip is used with LabVIEW 7.1 and LabVIEW FPGA 1.1. ZIP file contains:
FPGA Project File - Periodic Waveform
FPGA VI - Memory_Read_Write(fpga)
Host VI - Periodic_Waveform_Output_Main (Host)
SubVIs called from host
This example was designed with a cRIO-9102 controller and cRIO-9263 Analog Voltage Output Module, but can be used with any National Instruments reconfigurable I/O hardware that has analog output channels.
periodic_wavegen_lv821.zip is used with LabVIEW 8.2.1 and LabVIEW FPGA 8.2.1. The ZIP file contains:
LabVIEW Project File - Periodic Waveform.lvproj
FPGA VI - Memory_Read_Write(fpga).vi
Host VI - Periodic_Waveform_Output_Main (Host).vi
SubVIs called from host
Binary to Nominal.vi can be found at <LabVIEW 8.2.1 installation directory>\examples\CompactRIO\Shared, by default, it's located at C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\examples\CompactRIO\Shared
This example was designed with a cRIO-9004 controller with cRIO-9104 chassis and cRIO-9263 Analog Voltage Output Module, but can be used with any National Instruments reconfigurable I/O hardware that has analog output channels.
