This VI outputs a continous piecewise-linear waveform. It performs linear interpolation between the end points of each linear segment with a user defined number of points between these two points. The update rate of the waveform generation can be changed during execution because the VI utilizes the Loop Timer VI. The algorithm behind this example is explained, in detail, in the "Linear Waveform Generation with CompactRIO and LabVIEW FPGA" tutorial, linked below.

NOTE: This program was developed with a CompactRIO 9102 controller and a cRIO-9263 module in slot 2 of the chassis. If you are using a different setup, do not forget to change the analog output to match your hardware setup. You may also have to change the host VI to point to your controller in the Open FPGA VI Reference function.
