Supported DSP Target: SPEEDY-33

This example shows how to simulate the sound reflections in a room or enclosed area and filter the signal using the SPEEDY-33 8-position switch. The reverberation (reverb) effect is the summation of the sound at its source and the reflected echoes.

Click the Run button to run the example VI. The Reverb History Buffer graph on the front panel displays the reverb history. The digital to analog converter (DAC) output channel on the DSP target plays the output of the reverb effect. Use the Gain control on the front panel to adjust the reverberation time for the signal decay. Use the Pan knob on the front panel to select the input signal from the left or right channel.

You can implement a digital filter by selecting switch 1 of the SPEEDY-33 8-position switch. The Filter LED indicator on the front panel lights when you implement a digital filter using the SPEEDY-33 switch. Use switch 8 to implement the reverb effect. The Reverb LED indicator on the front panel lights when you implement reverb using the SPEEDY-33 switch. Click the Stop button on the front panel to stop the example VI.
