Lookout has an alternator object that can automatically circulate between multiple devices. It can turn each device on/off by driving the DeviceRequest data member (the alternator sets it). To make sure that the device was successfully turned, if wired, the alternator checks the Response data member (the device sets it). The expected behavior is for the device to respond successfully. However, what happens if the device does not respond to the ON request and what if it does not respond to the OFF request? Run this example to find out.
