This VI allows you to draw points on a picture control by clicking and moving the mouse on the picture control.

Dynamic events are used to register the event when the mouse button is pressed within the picture area. Using this method, the VI is only tracking the mouse moves when the user intends to draw, when the draw boolean is TRUE, and the mouse button is pressed and over the picture control.

When you release the mouse button, move the mouse outside the picture area, or change the draw boolean to FALSE, the dynamic event is unregistered.
