Filename: occurence.vi
Requirements: View

This VI illustrates the basic concepts involved in using the DAQ Occurrence Config VI to configure an asynchronous pattern acquisition using the digital input VIs. The VI becomes idle after starting the acquisition, allowing LabVIEW to execute other VIs. When a certain number of digital pattern acquisitions is complete, the DAQ occurrence activates the VI, and the diagram retrieves the data.

This VI applies only to the Windows platform because it uses the DAQ Occurrence Config VI, which is only supported on the Windows platform. If you run this VI in LabVIEW for Macintosh, the DAQ Occurrence Config VI returns deviceSupportErr.

This VI is modified from an example called "Acquire N scans -Async occurenc.vi," which ships with LabVIEW 6.1.
