This example shows how to create a simple TCP/IP messaging protocol to interface remote applications using variable names. This protocol used in this example applies specifically to programming TCP/IP messaging applications for the NI TPC-2006 Industrial Touch Panel HMI and similar Windows CE OS devices supported under the LabVIEW PDA Module.

***Note: This example is meant as a replacement for the Simple TCP/IP Messaging Protocol Example for use with LabVIEW Real-Time targets. That example program uses XML conversions which are incompatible with the LabVIEW PDA Module and the Windows CE OS.
