This example demonstrates how to use the Powerpoint 97 ActiveX Automation interface to load and run presentations. ActiveX Automation is a technology based on the Component Object Model that allows developers to be able to reuse code (written in any language), that has a defined interface making it accessible to other applications. ActiveX Automation applications interact in a Client/Server model, where the Automation Server exposes objects which can be controlled by the Automation Client (also known as the Automation Controller).
