To load these example Notebooks and perform serial communication, you need the following ActiveX controls installed on your computer:
1) MSComm.HiQ - Microsoft Communications (MSComm) control. An ActiveX control delivered as part of Microsoft Visual Studio.
2) CWSerial.HiQ - NI ComponentWorks Serial (CWSerial) control. An ActiveX control delivered in evaluation mode with HiQ or as a fully functional control with HiQ Professional. The ComponentWorks ActiveX controls now are available as part of NI Measurement Studio, a suite of measurement tools designed for the Visual Studio and ANSI C programmer.
