This example allows shows how to benchmark the performance of a NI PXI-5660. It measures HW configuration time, data acquisition time, data transfer time, and software analysis time. The example allows different parameters to be adjusted, allowing their respective effects on the measurement time to be observed.
This particular example uses the block zoom FFT algorithm in the Spectral Measurements Toolset for converting the time domain data to frequency domain data. This would fall under the software analysis time.
