Acquiring Multirate Continuous Analog Input Using E Series Devices
Suppose you want to sample 3 channels at rates (1000 S/s, 500 S/s, and 250 S/s). This virtual instrument (VI) samples all three channels at the highest sampling rate and eliminates the undesired points from the slower channels. To do this, you must specify the maximum scanning rate (base) and one frequency divider factor for each of the channels. In the example above, those would be (1, 2, 4). As return, the Multi-Rate AI Read.VI gives you a cluster with one array for each of the scanned channels. Then you can plot it (as the example does) or save the data in a file.
