Simple FFT Example using a Dynamic Signal Acquistion Board

Filename: 4472_simple_fft.llb
Requirements: View

This example provides a simple GUI for showing a continuous power spectrum measurement. It uses FFT Block size and FFT Span as inputs, which are typical parameters for desktop spectrum analyzer devices. The code uses these parameters to calculate the more familiar (for DAQ users) hardware parameters: sample rate and input block size.

Set all front panel settings as desired. If you are performing measurements with an audio device or microphone, National Instruments recommends 10 kHz to 20 kHz baseband spans to generate an interesting display.
