Finding R^2 (Square of the Multiple Correlation Coefficient)

This LabVIEW VI uses a Linear Regression Fit on a set of data points and then calculates the R^2 (Square of the Multiple Correlation Coefficient) value. R^2 ranges from 0 to 1 depending on how well the line fits the data (the higher the value, the better the line represents the data set). R^2 is often expressed as a percentage by multiplying by 100.

The attached zip file contains the formula that was used to determine R^2 (see R^2.jpg). It was taken from "Applied Regression Analysis (3rd Ed.)" by Norman R. Draper and Harry Smith, pg. 33.

NOTE: This VI uses the Linear Fit.vi which is not available in the Base Package of LabVIEW.

The front panel of this example should have a better description of the problem and be more interactive. The controls should have some value, so it would give a responde when you run the example.
