TDM Streaming (TDMS) DataPlugin

This DataPlugin supports reading and writing of NI TDM Streaming files.

The TDMS DataPlugin installs with DIAdem 10.1, LabVIEW 8.2.1, LabWindows/CVI 8.1 (USI 1.4), Measurement Studio 8.6 or higher, by default. 

With LabVIEW 2009 and DIAdem 11.1 (USI 1.7) National Instruments introduced TDMS 2.0. To add TDMS 2.0 support to former versions of DIAdem, LabVIEW Storage VIs, and LabWindows/CVI DIAdem Connectivity Library, please download and install the TDMS 2.0 stand-alone installer (see Downloads Filename).

DIAdem 11.1 stores TDMS 2.0 files by default. Please install the TDMS 1.0 DataPlugin to allow DIAdem 11.1 to also store TDMS 1.0 files.

Note:
The TDMS 2.0 DataPlugin only installs with USI 1.7 (DIAdem 11.1, LabVIEW 2009) or higher. TDMS 1.0 support is installed for former USI versions by default.
With the installation of any National Instrument software containing USI 1.7 (or higher) DIAdem, LabVIEW Storage VIs and LabWindows/CVI 8.1 DIAdem Connectivity Library will store TDMS 2.0 files by default.

Note:
NI XNet uses the TDMS format to stream bus log file information. If you are using TDMS files that were created with NI XNet, please use the DIAdem Bus Log Converter.
