This library contains a send/receive pair of VIs that demonstrate how to send and receive data using the LabVIEW UDP VIs. First run the Receive VI, then run the Send VI and watch the data appear in the data indicator of the Receive VI.

You can also configure the sender to broadcast to the entire subnet (UDP broadcast) instead of just sending to one host.

The attachment called udpex.zip is saved in LV version 4.1.  Use this attachment if you are using LV 4.1 through LV 7.0.

The attachment called udp71.zip is saved in LV version 7.1.  Use this attachment if you are using LV 7.1 and higher.  The 7.1 and higher files can also be found by searching for UDP in the example finder.  To find them there, go to Help>>Find Examples.  Click on the search tab and search for UDP.  The 2 files are called UDP Sender.vi and UDP Receiver.vi.
