Requirements: View

This virtual instrument (VI) allows you to generate a scan clock from a periodic analog signal. This VI differs from the Acquire N Scans VI in that the scan clock in this VI comes from an analog signal.

Use this VI only with hardware that supports analog hardware triggering.

Note: The ATCOUT clock is selected as the scan clock source in the AI Clock Config VI.

DIRECTIONS:

1) Specify the appropriate device number.
2) Specify the appropriate channels.
3) Connect the analog trigger signal to PFI 0 (refer to the hardware documentation for the appropriate pin number).
4) Connect the analog input channels (refer to the hardware documentation for the appropriate pin numbers).
5) Specify the Trigger Level. Each time the signal crosses this threshold, a clock pulse is generated.
6) Specify the number of scans to acquire.
