This VI uses Microsoft Agent ActiveX components to control the various Agent characters. Before you can run this VI, you must download the MS Agent Core Components, the genie character, and a Text-to-Speech Engine if you want to use the speech capabilities of the character. Although this specific example is for the genie character, you also can use it for the other characters.

Download the Microsoft Agent documentation and SDK for more information. (See link below).

Note: If you want to make the character speak text, make sure you are not simultaneously using the sound device on your computer. Otherwise, you will not hear the character speak.
