This example demonstrates setting axis attributes and responding to changes in axis state through the AxisStateChanged event.
This example sets the AttributeMask property for an axis to configure the attributes that trigger the AxisStateChanged event. The event is generated when any of the selected attributes changes state. The state of all attributes in the AttributeMask is returned in the State parameter. This example compares the individual attributes to the current State to determine if the attributes are On or Off. A message box displays a warning when the nimotionAxisFollowingErrorExceeded attribute becomes True. LEDs display the direction and run/stop state of the axis. You can use the ChangedAttributeMask parameter to determine if an individual attribute has changed state since the last time the event was generated.
