Requirements: View

This example demonstrates how to synchronize multiple M-Series devices in a PXI chassis to achieve near simultaneous sampling between devices. This is possible by using the PXI Star Trigger to begin the acquisition on both devices simultaneously. The PXI Star Trigger can be driven by a Slot 2 controller such as the PXI-665x. Additionally the internal timebases from which the Sample Clock is generated on each device is phase locked to the CLK10 reference clock in the PXI chassis, a feature available to all M-Series DAQ boards. The example consists of two VIs. One VI to drive the PXI Star Trigger, and another to perform the triggered acquisition.

niSync.llb not in INSTR.lib
The example vi "Software Driven PXI Star.vi" tries to load the sub vi "niSync Send Software Trigger.vi" from within the "niSync.llb", but this llb does not exist in the "instr.lib" from the installed LabVIEW Developer Suite version 8.2, 8.0, 7.1, or 7.0. How do you get "niSync.llb" to put it into the "instr.lib"?
