Triggered Grab uses a DAQ device to create a pulse train that triggers an image acquisition. The pulses are generated on pins corresponding to ctr0 output, which can be found in the documentation for your DAQ device. An external connection must be made between your IEEE 1394 camera and the DAQ device's ctr0 pins. For information on triggering modes supported by NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 Cameras, refer to the NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 Cameras User Manual, which can be found at ni.com/manuals.

Versions using both NI-DAQ and NI-DAQmx are provided.

Example does not use DAQmx
The triggered_grab_with_DAQmx.vi does NOT use DAQmx VIs. Instead, it uses legacy VIs. You need to update it - it is not useful in its current state.
