Importing DIAdem data into LabVIEW

Requirements: View
Method A shows how to import data using an ActiveX connection to the DIAdem software itself. In this method DIAdem will be opened (although invisibly), told to load a particular file defined by the user and then the data will be directly transferred from DIAdem memory to LabVIEW. Method A is more flexible because you have DIAdem perform other operations prior to importing the data into LabVIEW
Method B shows how to simply load DIAdem data directly from a .DAT file into LabVIEW. Method B is easier to program, executes faster, does not require DIAdem to be installed on the computer running the VI, therefore it is also platform independent.
