This example demonstrates how to use the Data Publish VI on a FieldPoint RT module to send data to a Host PC. In this example, the embedded VI reads the thermocouple on a [c]FP-TC-120, determines whether or not it is above the specified threshold, and publishes a status string indicating if it is above or below the threshold. The host VI then reads the status using DataSocket. To run this example:

1. Download the Temperature Publish Threshold Example VI to the FieldPoint RT module.
2. Run the Read Threshold From FPRT VI on the host computer to view the published status. Be certain that the IP address for the URL is correct for you FieldPoint RT module.
