LabVIEW PDA Module Property Additions
The LabVIEW 7.1 PDA Module does not support Property Nodes. However, the PDA Module does include some additional VIs on the Application Control palette that provide some of the functionality usually performed by Property Nodes. In addition to the PDA Application Control VIs, additional VIs and examples are attached below. Bookmark this page because additional VIs are in development and will be added here as they become available.
Complete the following steps to add these additional VIs and examples to the PDA Module.
1. Download and unzip LabVIEW_PDA_Module_Property_Additions.zip.
2. Extract the files to any directory on your computer.
3. Double-click LabVIEW PDA Module Property Additions.exe. This copies the files to the appropriate PDA Module directories and adds a new PDA Properties palette to the User Libraries palette. Note: The examples are not copied to any PDA Module directory. You can open the examples from wherever you extracted them.
No additional steps are required to build PDA VIs into PDA applications when you use these VIs.
Property Additions with New VIs:
Change Control Color VI--Use the Change Control Color VI to change the color of control and indicator elements.
Examples:
Change Color Example (Palm OS and Pocket PC versions)--Sets the color of various controls and indicators. When you click the Run button, you build the PDA example VI into a PDA application. This example runs only on a PDA device, emulator, or simulator; it does not run on Windows. This example includes the PDA VI (.vi) and PDA application (.prc or .exe).
