This example illustrates how to use a Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro in Excel to acquire a sine wave from an NI Instrument Simulator with GPIB Measure functions. The example won't work if you're not using an NI Instrument Simulator, but it still illustrates how you can use a macro to programmatically create a graph to plot your acquired data.

Note that National Instruments does not provide support for writing VBA code in Excel. This example is meant to be a starting point for you in writing your own applications. For more assistance with VBA coding, please consult the Microsoft Developer's Network at the link below:
