VB6 niHSDIO - Dynamic Generation and Acquisition-Source Synchronous
Downloads
Filename: 203522.zip
Requirements: View
This example demonstrates how to perform a source synchronous dynamic generation and acquisition on a single high speed digital device. This example will account for cable delays that the data may experience while travelling from the generation channels to the acquisition channels. The Sample clock is exported on the DDC CLK Out pin by the generation session, and the acquisition will use the STROBE pin as its Sample clock source. The generation will export its data active event to PFI 1 and the acquisition will receive the start trigger from PFI 2.
I/O Connection Overview:
To ensure source synchronous generation and acquisition, use equal length cable to make the following connections on the terminal block:
1) DDC CLK Out to STROBE
2) PFI 1 to PFI 2
3) Data lines 0-7 to Data lines 8-15 (Connect line 0 to line 8, etc.)
