Filename: scxi-1540_virtual_channel.vi
Requirements: View

This VI is designed to use an LVDT virtual channel configured in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). Once you have configured the virtual channel in MAX, use the following steps to configure the VI:

1. Enter the proper device number. It defaults to 1. Use this value when you have only one data acquisition device in your computer.
2. Enter the name of the virtual channel that you created in the channel string field in MAX.
3. Once you have entered these values, you can run the VI.

Keep in mind that you can create your virtual channel to give the value of displacement in either mil or mm. This particular VI works with either type, but the label on the front panel references mil. The label has no bearing on how your VI operates.
