Adding a Normally Distributed Error to Random Data Points in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET

Requirements: View

In this example, the user supplies data points for the y variable and its error limits dy1 and dy2 to provide error limits for random data. You can expand this example to more complicated cases (user generated error limits, errors on both variables, etc.). You can create errors randomly (normally distributed) on a randomly created set of data points.

This example program creates error bars on a Measurement Studio .NET graph using extensibility. Extensibility allows the user to derive or inherit from the existing Measurement Studio plot and customize its properties.
