DESCRIPTION:
The Master Axis - Slave Axis Gearing VI sets up a slave axis to be "geared" to a master axis, and follow the master axis at a specified ratio.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Be sure your board is initialized before running this VI. Refer to the Initialization topic in the FlexMotion VI Online Help, which can be launched by choosing FlexMotion VI Online Help in the Help menu.
2. Select the Board ID that corresponds to your FlexMotion controller in the Board Configuration Utility.
3. Select the Slave Axis and the Master Axis as the devices to be linked in the gearing operation.
4. Enter a value in the Target Position for Master control. Then press the MOVE button. As the Master Axis moves, the Slave Axis should follow at the appropriate ratio.
5. Press the QUIT button to end the program.

KEY PARAMETERS:
1. Slave Axis Rotations: Gear ratio numerator.
2. Master Axis Rotations: Gear ratio denominator.

Note: The use of the term "rotations" here assumes that the two axes have the same number of counts per revolution.

I/O CONNECTIONS OVERVIEW:
This example requires a system configuration with two axes.
