This example uses a NI4050 digital multimeter in a Pocket PC 2003 device to acquire data such as DC Volts, AC Volts, and resistance. Different tests can be selected to determine whether or not the acquired measurement is within a predefined specification.
This example also shows off some of the new features available in LV PDA 7.1 such as the ability to zoom on a graph, tab controls, and communicate through Bluetooth to a PC.
In order to use Bluetooth, the PDA and PC must have Bluetooth capabilities. There is also a Bluetooth Server VI which is to be run on the PC.
If Bluetooth is not available, the example will log all results to the PDA in a .txt file that can be downloaded later .
