Filename: sc-2350.llb
Requirements: View

This example writes TEDS data to a TEDS hardware smart sensor EEPROM connected to the SC-2350 TEDS SCC carrier. Select the type of sensor to be used and fill out the template. The data is then converted to fit the TEDS template. The data can be written to a sensor connected to the SC-2350 or written into a Virtual TEDS file. This VI requires LabVIEW 7.1 or later.

This appears tp write the complete Data Sheet to the Data Memory. Doesn't the 2004 version of the IEEE standard require that the Basic TEDS information be written to the Application Register? This would then place it in the one-time programmable register. Am I interpreting the IEEE format incorrectly?

The example code is only helpfull up to a point. The code used to save the TEDs data to the EEPROM is incorrect and does not work. Errors are returned!
