For example, consider an application analyzing a spectrum from a start frequency of 10 MHz to a stop frequency of 60 MHz. To view this 50 MHz span using the RFSA, you first set up the PXI-5600 to examine three continuous 20 MHz spans. The NI PXI-5660 returns time-domain data corresponding to each of the three segments. This example demonstrates using the Spectral Measurements Toolset to transform the time-domain data for each segment to the frequency domain, concatenate the segments together, and then display the complete spectrum on a graph.
