This example program demonstrates the use of picture functions in LabVIEW to design Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Suppose you want to highlight an area on the factory blueprint that has an alarm. You will find useful code inside the example.
This example has a background image, a floor plan in this case, that is mixed with color-blocks to highlight a particular area in the image. The transparency of the blocks can also be changed.
In this example, the BMP image will always be cropped to be 600 by 400 pixels and controls should not be placed outside this range.
