This DataPlugin supports access to ASAM ODS Server interface.

With this DataPlugin you have access to ASAM ODS Server through the Corba interface. You can read/import and write/export any kind of ASAM ODS data objects.

Update Information: The following changes have been made for this version:
  • DT_BOOLEAN/DS_BOOLEAN attributes can now be written with the AOP5 DataPlugin.
  • Added blobandbytestreamattributes option to enable the retrieval of BLOB and BYTESTR attributes.
  • DT_EXTERNALREFERENCE/DS_EXTERNALREFERENCE can now be written using the AOP5 DataPlugin.
  • If ... Button is pressend in DIAdem Navigator the MIN/MAX and DISTINCT are no longer emulated locally, but ASAM ODS server functionality is used.
  • Fixed crash that could occur during writing of DS_DATE attributes or DT_DATE measurement quantities.
  • Changed log file creation to a line-based implementation to achieve better output.
  • DT_BLOB, DT_BYTESTR, and DS_BYTESTR are now serialized in a base64 string. VBS can be used to write this to file.
  • Syntax: 'ni_base64:__ni_blobname:BLOBNAME__ni_blobdata:BASE64_STR'. In a BYTESTR the blobname is missing.
  • omniorb is now configured by a config file. It is stored in ...\ProgramData\National Instruments\Shared\USI\Plugins\DataPlugins\AOP5\uspAOP5_omniorb.cfg. The giopMaxMsgSize is set to 250MB to allow transport of larger channels in one piece.
