This example uses the rendezvous function to synchronize two motion boards so that they run a straight line move at almost exactly the same time.  The example is simply the "One-Axis Move with Position Monitor.vi" shipping example, modified for two boards.

NOTE:  We recommend that in almost all cases, you do not need to use this example unless you are trying to control more than 8 Axes.  If you are trying to control 8 or less Axes, you should purchase a Motion board which contains enough axis for your situation, as synchronizing axis on the same board works best (as opposed to synchronizing axes across multiple boards) and it allows you to take advantage of other more interesting features (i.e. 2D, 3D moves, hardware synchronization, etc.).

NI Motion boards do not have a feature which allows you to syncronize two motion boards using hardware.  In most cases synchronizing NI Motion Boards using software is more than acceptable, but does allow for imperfect synchronization.  If you need to synchronize your motion in hardware, a solution using NI Softmotion might be able to solve the problem.
