This VI provides an example of using LabVIEW to communicate with a GPIB-232CT-A in S mode. S mode is used when the GPIB-232CT-A is connected to the PC via a Null Serial cable and is controlling one or more instruments via GPIB. The VI has two functions, the first is to test the GPIB-232CT-A to verify that the device is working and communicating properly with the PC. The second is to use the GPIB-232CT-A to send commands to an instrument (and recieve a response if appropriate).
