The CIE design pattern is based on the LabVIEW RT and FPGA module and requires the following support software:

  • LabVIEW 8.2.1 or later
  • LabVIEW Real-Time 8.2.1 or later
  • LabVIEW FPGA 8.2.1 or later

The CIE is distributed as a reference example installed in the LabVIEW examples folder. The example implements the CIE on a specific configuration of CompactRIO modules. The implementation of the CIE and steps to customize it are described in A cRIO I/O Engine Design Pattern for Machine Control.

Additional information on features, installation and licensing are available in ReadMe files included in the attached source distribution.

Please submit your feedback in the Components discussion forum so that we can improve this component for future applications.

Please direct support questions to NI Technical Support.  Systems Engineering will answer general questions as time allows, but our ability to provide individual support is limited.
