Overview

The machine control reference application is placed in the examples folder of LabVIEW. It illustrates the use of the different components that are part of the machine control reference architecture. These components must be installed to load and run the reference application. The required components are:

An additional component of the machine control reference architecture, but not required to run this example, is the Tag Configuration Editor (TCE). The TCE is required to adapt this example to a different application.

All of these components are available and documented on Developer Zone.

The reference application and its sub-systems are described in A Machine Controller Architecture Overview.

Please submit your feedback in the Machine Control discussion forum so that we can improve this component for future applications.

Please direct support questions to NI Technical Support.  Systems Engineering will answer general questions as time allows, but our ability to provide individual support is limited.
