The Benchmark VI, the host VI in this application, reads and writes from the RT target to the FPGA device multiple times, then calculates on average how much time each access takes. The DifferentControls(FPGA) VI has various controls for the Benchmark VI to access.
The host VI runs on an NI cRIO-9002 controller. The FPGA VI runs on an NI cRIO-9101 chassis. To change the targeted hardware, refer to the link below.
Note: To benchmark other processes, please refer to the "Benchmark Project.lvproj" in the LabVIEW Example Finder at Help >> Find Examples.
