This example is written specifically for communication from a PDA to Compact Fieldpoint; however, the concept of using the serial to Bluetooth adapter can be applied to a serial port on your computer just as easily as the serial port on the Compact Fieldpoint.
The program on the Compact Fieldpoint generates random data. Whenever a PDA with Bluetooth capability is near, the PDA can detect the Bluetooth adapter on the Fieldpoint, retrieve the data being generated, and display it on the PDA.
The Bluetooth adapter used in this program is a Parani SD100.
The instructions for configuring the PDA for Bluetooth were written for a Dell Axim X51V.
Instructions and manuals are included in the zip file and have been added to the LabVIEW project file.
