This example shows how to use the classification VIs in NI Vision. Classification quickly identifies and classifies unknown objects in inspection images. First, use the Classification Training Interface to teach your application the types, or classes, of objects you want to classify. The Classification Training Interface creates a classifier file, which you then use to classify unknown objects into one of the classes you trained.

This example requires LabVIEW and is included with the Vision Development Module. Download the LabVIEW Evaluation and the Vision Development Module Evaluation to try this example. After installing the software, open LabVIEW and navigate to Help » Find Examples... » Toolkits and Modules.
