This DataPlugin supports reading / importing of ATML 2.0 data files.
The Automatic Test Markup Language (ATML) is an emerging XML-based standard for ATE (Automated Test Equipment) and test information data exchange.
ATML 2.0 is used by NI TestStand, a ready-to-run test management environment for organizing, controlling, and executing automated test systems, for the ATML TestResults report. More details on how ATML can be used in NI TestStand can be found here.
Please use the ATML 1.0 DataPlugin for ATML 1.0 files written by TestStand 3.5.
Please use the ATML_5 DataPlugin for ATML 5.0 files.
DIAdem 2012 now features a Search Results Wizard to display test results in presentation quality at the touch of a button. For more information, see the example "Evaluation Wizard for the Search Results of the DataFinder" in DIAdem 2012.

How to use the ATML DataPlugin
Hi all,
The ATML DataPlugin was written for data
files which primarily store scaler value test
results. In this case assigning the scaler
result value to a DIAdem channel of length=1
is not very helpful.
Instead, the DataPlugin assigns each scaler
result value to a named property. The huge
advantage of this approach is that you can
use the DataFinder to query a set of scaler
results from accross multiple UUTs or ATML
files. After querying the results you are
interested in, you should drag the property
column from the search results table into the
Data Portal. This will create a channel of
length=N for all the N scaler measurements of
that type across your various UUTs or files.
This is usually what you really want in the
case of parametric measurements-- the ability
to run statistics on a particular quantity
across measurement sets.
I have a variety of custom menus that make
this sort of thing much faster and easier,
feel free to email me at brad.turpin@ni.com
and I will be happy to send them to you.

TS 4.0 -> ATML 2.0 -> Diadem: no channels available
Hello all!
I have tried to import a ATML 2.0 Result file
into Diadem with this new data-plugin.
However, I was surprised, that the measured
value of for example a 'Numeric Limit Test'
or 'Multiple Numeric Limit Test' can not be
found in a channel. I expected a channel with
length one and the numeric value inside this
channel (for Numeric Limit test).
As long as the measured values are not
assignd to a channel this plugin is useless
for me.
Best regards
Waldemar
