The NI 5911 flexible resolution digitizer is very useful for spectral analysis applications requiring a low noise floor. The basic specifications for calculating the noise floor are given in the NI 5911 User Manual. This VI references these specifications and calculates the noise floor based on the sampling rate and input range (gain) settings. Just choose the sampling rate and input range, and run the VI to get the noise level relative to the full-voltage scale.
