These VIs display the simplicity of the new NI-DAQmx programming interface. They also show the performance enhancements that have been made with NI-DAQ 7 including greatly improved single-point and waveform performance. Much of the waveform performance enhancement can be attributed to a fully multithreaded driver allowing maximum use of the processer and the single-point performance gains can be attributed to very efficient memory-mapped registers. More technical information can be found in a document within the zip file named "NI-DAQ 7 Performance Demos.doc."
