The following examples illustrate additional functionality with calibration.

The first example illustrates how to use a calibration grid, either with a live acquisition or from a file, to correct for perspective distortion. The example documents the process for calibration as you learn a grid, apply the calibration information to your image, and then either correct the entire image or convert individual pixels to real-world distances.

If you are doing a live grab, make sure you have a camera connected, along with a grid of dots. You can print out a grid of dots from Start >> Programs >> National Instruments >> Vision >>Documentation >> Calibration Grid.png. Be aware that if you do a live grab, it will save over the original images if you leave the path the same.

The second example shows how to correct individual points from an image with perspective distortion.

The third example shows how to create your own calibration settings with two user defined points, and then returns the calibrated position of a third point using simple calibration correction.

The fourth example is written in Visual Basic and just shows a simple calibration.
