This example demonstrates how to use the Excel 2000 ActiveX Automation interface with worksheets. ActiveX Automation is a technology based on the Component Object Model that allows developers to reuse code (written in any language), that has a defined interface making it accessible to other applications.

ActiveX Automation applications interact in a Client/Server model, where the Automation Server exposes objects that can be controlled by the Automation Client (also known as the Automation Controller). In this application, the LabWindows/CVI example acts as an Automation Client to control Excel through its Automation Server.
