With the NI LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit 4.0, you can perform model-in-the-loop simulation, rapid control prototyping, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing using your models created in The MathWorks, Inc. Simulink® environment.

Easily connect a user interface and real-time I/O to your models created using Simulink software with the LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit.

The LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit makes it easy to connect your models to a combination of analog, digital, and protocol-based I/O devices on LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA targets including NI CompactRIOPXI real-time systems, and desktop real-time systems. It is also easy to connect your model parameters and signals to user interfaces created in LabVIEW  before and during model execution. A run-time utility helps simultaneously update groups of model parameters to change the behavior of your model. To provide stimuli for your application, you can apply multichannel data profiles to your model or directly to your I/O. You also can specify multirate data logging on a per-channel basis to optimize file size and application performance.

All of these capabilities can be configured without programming; however, you can further customize your configurations and add more features using LabVIEW.
