NI and Intel Deliver Multicore Hands-On Workshop
National Instruments and Intel are cosponsoring the “Multicore Programming with NI LabVIEW” worldwide technology workshop to demonstrate techniques for taking advantage of new multicore processor capabilities in more than 30 locations around the globe.
The half-day workshop features perspectives from Intel on the industry transition from single-core to multicore systems and provides insight into its multicore technology roadmap. Engineers and scientists can participate in hands-on exercises using dual-core laptops equipped with LabVIEW software and the NI CompactDAQ USB-based modular data acquisition system. The three-hour hands-on segment covers graphical programming basics, parallel programming techniques, partitioning an application, debugging, and migrating legacy applications to multicore.
Attendees walk away understanding how to achieve real performance improvements by using LabVIEW graphical programming for multicore system development.

In addition to U.S. and Canadian locations, this event is touring Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Visit ni.com for a location near you.
